We are excited to welcome Sarahi Amaya to Zeman and Petterson. Sarahi serves as the firm’s receptionist and office assistant. She works closely with us to provide client support, schedules appointments and manages the calendar, helps with bookkeeping and takes payments, and performs general administrative duties. Sarahi started with us in mid-September and has already proven to be a huge asset to our office. Her calm, kind demeanor makes the office a better place. We feel very lucky to have her on our team.
Sarahi has over ten years experience working for law firms and court reporting agencies as an administrative assistant and scheduler. Her interest in immigration law began at a very young age after experiencing the many struggles that can come with immigrating to the United States. Sarahi is a native Spanish speaker who was born in Honduras and raised in Queens, New York.
Sarahi loves traveling, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with her beloved family and friends when she is not working. She had the opportunity to live in various states with her husband Eddie before calling Arlington, Virginia, home. We hope you all have the opportunity to meet and talk to Sarahi in the days ahead.
